Artist Yona Levy-Grosman paints in her own unique style, influenced by ideas from both scientific and Jewish perspectives, philosophy, and her love for humanity, knowledge, and the people of Israel.

Biography:
|
|
Levy-Grosman was born in 1948 at what was then known as the USSR and is known today as Ukraine. In 1958 she immigrated with her parents to Israel, studied nursing at Hadasa, Jerusalem and Psychology at Bar Ilan University. She then lived in the Yamit region in Sinai, which was later evacuated and returned to the Egyptians. The artist was a founding member of Ein Habasor, a small settlement in the south where she still lives and creates today.

Exhibitions -Bitan Le’Omanot, Gani Yehusha, Tel Aviv -“Yziramon” curated by Dr. Gideon Effrat -Beit Ha’Omanim, Tel Aviv -Be’er Sheva museum -Omer Museum -Ben Gurion University -Nahbir project- environmental sculpture in the Western Negev -Kay College gallery -Lesley College gallery -Entrance Gallery at the Massada National Park Yona's works were exhibited in the President's Mansion and printed on the covers of published books and booklets -Publishers “Sifriyat Poalim” published an album with her paintings and poetry under the title “Ahava He Ei-shfiyot” (love is insanity) which received excellent criticism.
