Biography:

Karen Mizrahi was born into fashion. As the daughter of Nissim Mizrahi, founder of the Israeli fashion empire titled "Rosh Indiani", and as the niece of Danny Mizrahi, the famous dress designer, Karen was bound to carry on her 'fashionable family tradition'. As she grew up she decided to study industrial engineering at the "Shenkar" college, specializing in textile. Her education provided her with a strong basis of professional knowledge and she was set to begin her fashion career. But nothing came easy for the young designer. "Rosh Indiani" had to shut down in 2003 and Karen had to start from scratch. She set up a small studio in her mothers' basement and sold her designed clothes to small boutique shops under her own brand name. Today, Karen's hard work is paying off, and the designer has boutique shops in Ramat Hasharon, Tel Aviv and in Kiryat Ono. All shops are designed as open clean spaces that give center stage to reveal Karen's collection.
