Nira Schneider is a Nutritional Consultant and expert of the Israeli Mediterranean Kitchen. A native Israeli of Syrian heritage, Nira grew up on the Syrian-Israeli kitchen that has been passed down in her family for generations, and personally to her by her mother who immigrated to Israel by foot from Syria at the age of 15.
Today Nira is a certified Nutritional Consultant with an MA in Vegan and Live Food Nutrition. She utilizes the nutritional treasures of the Mediterranean Israeli Kitchen as the foundation for her treatment in Vegan and Live Food Lifestyle. Nira is an expert in treating people who are interested in naturally improving their health and quality of life. Long ago she began her journey towards wellness using the same approach she treats others with now. Aside from losing forty five pounds and keeping it off for years, Nira has also improved every other aspect of her life. Nira’s specialty is tailoring nutritional programs to meet the individual needs of her clients. She creates programs that accommodate every aspect of a person’s lifestyle. Nira studied with Dr. Gabriel Cousens, a holistic, medical live – food doctor at the Tree of Life College of Living Arts and the University for Integrative Learning in Wyoming. In addition, Nira works with Dr. Barnet Meltzer, a well respected, internationally known, Board Certified physician and pioneer in clinical nutrition. Dr. Meltzer has the distinction of being the first medical doctor to enter the clinical practice of preventive medicine in Southern California. Her coaching involves teaching recipies of the Israeli Mediterranean food to accompany the nutritional treatment for a healthy lifestyle.
